Triathlon is one of the most versatile Olympic sports. It consists of: swimming, cycling and running, respectively. Between disciplines there are no breaks to prepare for the next part, change of competition. a compulsory helmet takes place in a special transition zone. In the transition zone, competitors also leave their equipment used in swimming: a cap, swimming wetsuit, goggles. when a competitor enters the race, the starting number is collected.
In Szczecin, the event is gaining more and more popularity. Participants come from all over Poland, as well as from Germany and Denmark.
Hotel Dana represents DANATEAM every year, consisting of 8-10 competitors from various professional groups, let us add that this year, in the quarter, we won the first place.
The technique and tactics of a triathlon competition mainly depends on the individual predispositions of the competitor, the route, weather conditions, the type of triathlon (Ironman, Olympic, sprint, etc.) and the sports predispositions of the rivals. Running abilities. In the event of a varied cycling route, "sharp" climbs, "hard" turns, the final success comes in the preparation of cycling. Triathlon swimming is of great importance, but its level does not necessarily have to be top. It must be sufficient to be in the lead: up to 10-15 places.
During the swim, the competitors position themselves in the "goose" funnel. The height of a particular triathlete's position in this setting depends to a large extent on the start and the dynamics of overcoming the first stage - that is, to the first buoy. The players come out of the water at once. Despite slight differences between individual riders, not all of them will ride in one group. Each player strives to be in the first group.
Competitors do not know how the competition will proceed on the bicycle route, therefore each competitor wants to complete the swimming part of the triathlon as quickly as possible. Athletes who swim well and ride less will have the opportunity to "screw" into a faster pace. Good cyclists will have a greater chance of potentially breaking the weaker ones. Certainly, however, the competitor must strive to be able to ride in a group after leaving the water.
Triathlon is undoubtedly a great sport. You never know who will win. It is also not known how the sports fight will unfold, the fight against rivals, with increasingly heavier air. For triathlon competitions, you need long-term, comprehensive preparation, which also includes technical preparation and tactics of the competition. This work is an attempt to define directions in this area.
