The best time to plan your company's future is now! In previous articles, we wrote about interesting ideas for business events and about the advantages that make us the perfect conference hotel. Today we will talk with Agnieszka Bloch - our sales specialist, who has been co-creating fantastic events for companies for several years. Without leaving your home, you will learn what working in the sales department is. You will also find out that Agnieszka's support will greatly facilitate the organization of your event.
What do you consider most important in your work? There are several things: reliability, responsibility, credibility. For this authenticity, kindness and hospitality. And certainly professionalism. How do you see your role as a sales specialist? What are your tasks? I feel like an agent for special tasks :) But seriously, working in this position requires me to carry out many tasks. Primarily: getting to know the expectations of our customers, preparing an offer, proposing various available solutions, anticipating - here I activate my imagination. I have to predict the course of the meeting with us and see if everything that is planned can be implemented - prevention - if the client's vision unfortunately does not match our possibilities of implementation, e.g. due to the lack of sufficient space in the hotel, I have to propose a different solution or refuse to perform to prevent non-fulfillment of the contract. Being credible to the client is an important matter for me! then the contract - it's actually a pure formality - and watching over the implementation. What does your work on preparing the offer look like? Preparation of the offer is by far the most interesting part of the journey with the client. First of all, I start by checking whether we are able to fulfill a given query in terms of logistics, i.e. the number of people, the rooms needed. Some of the events that customers ask about are impossible to implement due to too many people (over 250) - then we regretfully refuse. If everything is correct, I take a piece of paper and a pen, write down the assumptions and their possible implementation plan. I like to work with music, which is why I have headphones with my favorite music on for a large part of the day at work devoted to new offers. What do you like and value most about your job? I certainly like the moment when, after sending the offer, information comes that the client has decided on our offer. Then I feel like a fisherman who has caught a goldfish. It is such a feeling that your work and commitment met the client's expectations, that something sparked. I also like the moment when the customer is satisfied after the end of the event. This is what we do for it :) What, as a sales specialist, would you never do? I would never like to accept an assignment that I know we will not be able to fulfill. Credibility is an important element of my work for me. I identify very much with my clients and their events are as important to me as my own. I think that also thanks to this, customers are aware that they are not anonymous, that we are creating a team for a short time. How would you describe Hotel Dana **** Business & Conference? The facility itself is unique. Every time I pass by, I love it - really! It reminds me of old hotels, e.g. in Germany. In my opinion, it is a perfect showcase of the city. This historic character from the outside with such a completely different interior is a really perfect combination. The hotel is actually situated in the city center. There are parks nearby, but also shopping malls. It is the perfect starting point for both business and leisure activities - what more could you want. What events can be organized at the Dana Hotel? The hotel has 100 rooms and 5 meeting rooms of various sizes. We can organize group stays, conferences, galas, banquets and weddings. We will not accept 250 people at a banquet party, but up to 140 we can prepare such an event as expected. Our rooms can be rented for business meetings, recruitment, training ... Actually, there is probably no event that cannot be carried out with us. In addition to the facilities in the form of rooms, the kitchen is an extremely important element, and in this area we can also prove ourselves: coffee breaks, conference and training lunches, gala dinners - a full range of culinary experiences!
