RIESLING
One variety - endless possibilities
How can you describe this "king of white wines"? Light, noble, delicately fruity, full-bodied, fragrant - the possibilities of this variety are endless. It is best to simply enjoy it, for example by serving it with sea fish, poultry or cream and cottage cheese. The region of origin, the type of soil and the degree of ripeness at harvest are also revealed in a wide range of Riesling aromas: from citrus to firm apples to ripe peaches to tropical fruits. Often there are notes of mineral, herbal or spicy in the background. Tones of maturity and the honey nuances of the noble mold add an extra dimension to the Riesling universe.
Due to the multitude of flavor variations, Riesling has established itself as the most popular German variety, which is grown in all 13 wine regions in Germany. In German vineyards with an area of over 23 thousand. hectares, almost 60 percent of all grapes of this variety on Earth are born. The Palatinate and the Mosel are the two largest Riesling production regions in the world.
Leading positions in international rankings are not uncommon in the case of the Riesling, which is considered a traditional German variety, although for some time it has also been a sensation around the world: from California, through South Africa to New Zealand.
In our restaurant you can taste the delicious Selbach Riesling "Incline" Qualitätswein wine, which comes from the Moselle valley. This refreshing drink will perfectly complement the various suggestions on our menu - seafood, fish and poultry dishes, as well as desserts.
We cordially invite you to the Dana Hotel Restaurant every day from 15:00-23:00.
